Shift Supervisor

If you’re ready to take the crown, this position is the right place to start. As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll develop essential managerial skills while still being able to enjoy the fast-paced restaurant vibes with your team members. This role is great for individuals who want to make a difference for their community while showing off the quality of their work.

The Shift Supervisor has full accountability for restaurant operations during assigned shifts when the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is not present. This position operates under the direct management of the RGM and helps lead the restaurant team.

Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise team members on team stations, Burger King products, processes, and policies.

  • Resolve challenges or assist team members and customers in resolving problems.

  • Ensure work areas are up to health and safety standards by keeping a clean and organized environment by Burger King Standards.

  • Follow cash control/security procedures and help implement marketing plans, maintain inventory, manage labor, and apply financial reports throughout shifts.

  • Assists RGM in enforcing compliance with government regulations, BK Market Policy, procedures relating to all restaurant activities across shifts.

  • Prompt and regular attendance for assigned shifts, meetings, and training.

  • Available to work evening, weekends, and holidays.

Assistant Manager

The AM helps manage financial controls, operations, people development, Guest service and compliance across shifts for desired restaurant outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability and employee retention). The AM has full accountability for restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and direct team members and Shift Coordinators to exceed guest expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.

  • Train and supervise team members at workstations, BK products, processes and policies.

  • Create work schedules shifts, coordinate time-off requests and swiftly resolve team member absences. 

  • Follow cash control/security procedures and help implement marketing plan, maintain inventory, manage labor, and apply financial reports across shifts to enhance restaurant result.

  • Assist RGM in enforcing compliance with government regulations, BK Market Policy, employment law, food safety, BKC Security.

 General Manager

BURGER KING® is looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager (RGM) who can bring an organized, efficient, and profitable operation to our BK Restaurants. A role fit for individuals who are self-motivated and competitive. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, while using your management and leadership skills towards a driven team. The RGM leads the restaurant management team and oversees the financial controls, operations, people development, guest service and BKC compliance within the restaurant across all shifts. This position is overseen by a District Manager (DM) and directly manages Team Members, Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct accurate and efficient preparation and sale of products to maximize team/guest satisfaction.

  • Provide coaching and feedback to Team Members, Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers.

  • Assume full responsibility for restaurant profit and loss management by implementing marketing strategies and following cash control/security procedures.

  • Maintain inventory, manage labor, and apply financial reporting analysis to enhance restaurant results.

  • Enforce full compliance with local, state and federal, BK Market Policy, employment laws, food safety, BK Security policy, operations, and BK policies and procedures relating to all restaurants activities across shifts.

  • Lead restaurant management team in recruiting, selecting, hiring and retaining effective team talent.

  • Ensure preventive maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with Company standards.

  • Prompt and regular attendance for assigned shifts, meetings, and training.

  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
